We are currently looking for a Promotions Manager to join our Vancouver team! This position reports to the Director of Programming for Z95.3 & 104.3 The Breeze.
Vancouver is one of the most vibrant, competitive media markets in the country … and we’re looking for someone ready to make noise! Lead the promo department for two of the country’s largest-reaching stations; collaborate with the sales team & create moments that cut through and connect with audiences in a real way. Your day-to-day
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the format’s target audience, brand identity, and competitive landscape to ensure all promotions are relevant and effective
- Partner with Sales to build smart, revenue-driving promotions and client solutions
- Lead the execution of campaigns across on-air, digital, social, and on-site
- Work closely with Z Mornings with Katie & Ed to identify opportunities to drive engagement
- Bring ideas for clients, talent, and the brand … and execute them at a high level
- Execute local & national promotions and collaborate closely with the National Promotions team to ensure strong local impact
- Own station events, remotes, and client activations from concept to completion
- Lead and support the Promotions team while managing prizing, budgets, timelines, and logistics
- Meetings with Programming, talent and Sales to help deliver a consistent, high-quality brand experience
Your qualifications
- Proven experience in promotions, marketing, or brand activation, ideally in radio, media, or a fast-paced content environment
- A strong track record of developing and executing campaigns that drive results (engagement, revenue, or both)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and details
- Creative thinker who brings ideas and knows how to turn them into reality
- Strong understanding of how to connect with audiences across on-air, social, digital, and events
- Comfortable working closely with Sales teams and building client-facing solutions
- Confident communicator who can collaborate with talent, internal teams, and external partners
- Hands-on with content creation – social, video, and basic graphic tools is a strong asset
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
