We are looking for a Programmatic Sales Specialist to join our Stingray Advertising. This position reports to the CRO.

Your day-to-day

In this role, you will be the bridge between our premium inventory and the programmatic buying world. You will:

  • Drive Revenue: Meet and exceed annual revenue targets by selling programmatic deals across streaming, FAST/CTV, in-car, and in-store audio.
  • Technical Sales Leadership: Act as the internal programmatic expert, supporting Sales Directors on technical calls and helping operationalize complex deals.
  • Partnership Management: Manage and grow relationships with SSPs and DSPs to ensure Stingray inventory is optimized and discoverable.
  • Deal Strategy: Develop and execute account strategies for Private Marketplaces (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals.
  • Market Ambassador: Represent Stingray at industry events and within the programmatic community to elevate our brand presence.
  • Sales Operations: Work with internal teams to ensure seamless deal health, troubleshooting floor prices, and optimizing fill rates.

Your qualifications

  • 5+ years of dedicated programmatic sales experience.
  • Deep Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including the mechanics of DSPs, SSPs, and various deal types.
  • Multi-Platform Experience: Prior experience selling digital audio or CTV/Video inventory is a significant asset.
  • Presentation Skills: Confidence in presenting technical data and insights to build high-impact proposals.
  • Education: Degree or post-grad certification in Media, Advertising, or a related field is an asset.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, organizational agility, and a “status quo challenger”.

About You

  • Programmatic Pro: You have 5+ years of experience in programmatic sales, specifically working within the Canadian media landscape.
  • Networked: You possess deep, existing relationships with major agencies, brands, Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), and Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).
  • Technical Translator: You can take complex programmatic ecosystems (PMP, PG, Open Auction) and explain them simply to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Visionary: You believe in the future of “Retail Media” and “Digital Audio” and understand how programmatic execution is the key to scaling these channels.
  • Consultative & Collaborative: You aren’t just a solo flyer; you enjoy being the “subject matter expert” who helps a broader team win.
