Stingray Radio has an exciting opportunity for a National Accounts Receivable (AR) Coordinator, reporting to and working with our National AR Manager in various billing and collections activities for our locations across Canada. The successful candidate will ideally be located in Toronto, but we are happy to consider candidates to work out of any market we operate in across Canada, with flexibility under Stingray Radio’s hybrid work policy.
Your day-to-day
- Collections of national accounts receivable. Focus primarily to be on large overdue agency amounts
- Developing national account relationships with agencies and sales offices to facilitate timely collection
- Investigate and assist in resolution of invoices discrepancies and any required adjustment or credit notes
- Co-ordinate with National AR Manager to ensure efficient collection efforts
- Timely applying cash deposits, EFT and email transfers to customers accounts
- Assist in providing insight and feedback into current AR status and collection processes and suggest improvements, if any
- Setting up new vendors in our accounting system for Accounts Payables
- Additional duties as assigned by the National AR Manager
Your qualifications
- Account Receivable collection experience (broadcasting industry preferred but not mandatory)
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Very organized and detail oriented
- Meet tight deadlines
- A team player
- A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach that will enable the successful candidate to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity
