Stingray, a leading global music, media, and technology company, is seeking a passionate and experienced Media Sales Strategist to join our dynamic team in Toronto, Ontario.

 

Your day-to-day

  • Represent two of Toronto’s most exciting stations – the iconic boom 97.3, the city’s top-rated radio station with an unrivaled fan base, and the dynamic new 93.5 New Country, leading the charge in the Canadian Country music scene. You’ll have the opportunity to leverage the power of these popular stations, while also representing all Stingray Radio stations from Vancouver to St. John’s, unlocking vast sales potential across a nationwide network!
  • Leverage a diverse range of media solutions – including radio, programmatic display, programmatic video, connected TV, digital out-of-home, YouTube, search, social, and our proprietary retail media platform – to help clients grow and succeed.
  • Own the full sales process: from lead generation and prospecting to client needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve revenue targets through consultative sales and development of strategic proposals.  Manage and grow your client base while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (promotions, programming, creative, production, digital campaign managers) to deliver impactful, multi-platform advertising campaigns.

Your qualifications

  • You have 2+ years of in-person, consultative B2B sales or account management experience (experience in multi-media advertising or digital media is a plus)
  • You’ve consistently achieved and exceeded sales targets
  • You are an excellent communicator, presenter, and negotiator
  • You build strong, lasting relationships while maintaining professionalism
  • You are well-organized, accountable, and skilled at managing time and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • You thrive in a changing environment and approach challenges with a positive, consultative, and optimistic mindset
  • You are a Toronto-area resident with a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and valid vehicle insurance
