We are currently looking for a Level 1 Support Technician to join our support team. This position reports to the Broadcast Support Manager.

Your day-to-day
- Handle incident or request tickets and provide a high level of assistance to our clients’ technical teams
- Provide Level 1 technical support, follow up, and ensure the proper resolution of technical incidents
- Work closely with software developers, project/product managers, and other technical teams
- Use various monitoring and reporting tools such as Tableau to identify and resolve issues
- Create and maintain detailed documentation (Jira, Confluence)
Your qualifications
- Technical certification or an AEC diploma in computer science (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years of relevant experience in an equivalent position
- Basic knowledge of Linux (CentOS)
- Experience with a ticketing system such as JIRA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Nice-to-haves
- Written and verbal communication in Spanish
- Basic knowledge of audio and video encoding tools such as ffmpeg
- Understanding of the technical aspects of audio and video profiles
