We are looking for a full-time Deployment Specialist to join our Broadcast Operations team. This position reports to the Broadcast Support Manager.

Your day-to-day
- Responsible for the performance and stability of a variety of cloud and distributed on premises broadcast environments
- Automate software and system deployments
- Work closely with software developers, project managers, and other technical teams to support and evolve broadcast services
- Follow up and resolve problematic situations occurring on systems
- Provide a high level of support to our clients’ technical teams
- Ensure infrastructure monitoring and update
- Create and maintain clear and detailed documentation
- Support and maintain systems 24/7 on rotation
Your qualifications
- Experienced with Linux (CentOS/Red Hat) and “open source” environments
- Experienced with IT environments in the Cloud (AWS, Azure, Docker)
- Experienced with infrastructure automation, Ansible or equivalent
- Knowledge in programming (Python, Bash, Ruby)
- Familiar with “monitoring” concepts (Grafana, Prometheus)
- Familiar with virtualization platforms (KVM, VMWare)
- Qualified in networking (TCP/IP, VPN, Multicast, etc.)
- Informed about the technical aspects of audio and video transmission
- Excellent communicator in French and English, both spoken and written (Spanish an asset)
- Strong appetite for continuous improvement and system performance, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organization and work planning skills
- Autonomy and dynamism, 24/7 technical support schedule in rotation with the team in place and occasionally requiring interventions
