At Stingray, creativity, collaboration and innovative technology are the pillars of our DNA. Are you ready to rock your career by joining a growing company, a team of music enthusiasts in a stimulating and fun work environment?
For the Chatter Research team, we are looking for an experienced developer capable of solving complex problems and making pragmatic technical decisions, regardless of their preferred programming language. In our interdependent environment, your success depends on your ability to ship robust code by integrating modern agentic AI capabilities and to clearly communicate your technical understanding to maintain our velocity.
Your day-to-day
- AI Development: Integrate and optimize agentic AI workflows and RAG pipelines at the core of our product
- SaaS & Cloud Architecture: In collaboration with the team, design and evolve a robust and extensible microservices architecture. You will lead and participate in design discussions to make pragmatic technical decisions, without getting bogged down in over-engineering
- Streaming & Asynchronicity: Orchestrate parallel consumption of streaming APIs and build critical, asynchronous data processing workflows
- SaaS Lifecycle: Manage the challenges of multi-tenancy, complex user permissions, and ORM optimization
- DevOps Autonomy: Diagnose production anomalies via logs, navigate our Concourse pipelines, and collaborate on Terraform concepts
Your qualifications
- Experience (5+ years): A track record demonstrating your ability to ship complex, distributed SaaS products
- AI-Augmented Development: Proficiency in building agentic systems and AI workflows (e.g., autonomous agents, Skills). You naturally integrate AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) into your development cycle to accelerate design, coding, and problem-solving.
- Backend Expertise: Deep proficiency in at least one modern backend ecosystem (e.g., Python/Django, Ruby/Rails, Node.js/NestJS, Java/Spring). You are motivated to quickly master our main technical environment, which is centered on Python
- Frontend Expertise: Solid experience with a modern framework like Next.js, React, or Vue.js
- Solid Engineering Principles: Concrete experience with ORMs, asynchronous tasks (e.g., Celery, Sidekiq), and the challenges inherent to SaaS platforms, regardless of the language
- Decisiveness & Pragmatism: The ability to make swift technical decisions and to prioritize simplicity and efficiency
- Collaboration & Clarity: You are a driver of clarity for the team, actively participating in code reviews and collaborative discussions about designs and challenges
Nice-to-haves
- Direct experience with the Python backend ecosystem (Django, FastAPI, Flask) is a major asset
- Knowledge of the Ruby on Rails and Sidekiq ecosystem (for maintenance and ongoing evolution of the platform)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
- Expertise in optimizing PostgreSQL database performance
The team you’ll be joining
The team you’ll be joining is Chatter Research: a small, agile, and versatile team of four developers building a cutting-edge SaaS platform for conversation analysis. Autonomy is one of the team’s core strengths, meaning every individual contribution has a direct and significant impact on the product.
