Stingray Radio Toronto is looking for the next promotions superstar! As a seasonal part-time Brand Ambassador, you will represent New Country 93.5 at various events, concerts, festivals sales remotes and trade shows throughout the summer.
Reporting to the Promotions Coordinator, team members will be motivated, responsible, and energetic and must be able to work independently and as part of a team. You’ll be the face of our station as you facilitate events and promotions, Including: driving station cruisers – setup and tear down of equipment – engaging large crowds – handing out giveaways – creating social media content and more!
This is a seasonable part-time opportunity from May 20th, 2025 – October 6th, 2025 with the opportunity to be extended.
We are looking for someone who
- Brings a ‘Hollywood’ feel to stations on-location events, including audio/video displays, promotional tents, banners, backdrops
- Is creative and a quick thinker; an opportunity for new ideas can arise at any moment’s notice
- Is knowledgeable and enthusiastic brand ambassador for New County 93.5 (and occasionally our sister station boom 97.3) by actively engaging listeners and clients
- Works closely with the promotions team to build and maintain great relationships and to develop, as a team, an effective street level presence at all events
- Set’s-up and oversees all technical aspects and broadcast equipment at client remotes and live-to-airs
- Ensures the proper handling and safe storage of all promotional signage and equipment
- Ensures proper, safe usage and maintenance of station vehicles
- Performs MC duties as required
- Develops current and compelling content for all social media platforms
- Attends and participate in meetings and creative brainstorms
- Provides detailed event wrap reports and ideas on ‘how could we make it better’
- Takes responsibility to ensure efficient and timely execution for all events
What you will bring
- A valid Ontario G Class driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory
- Extensive knowledge and passion for Country Music
- Understand the importance of representing our brands in a professional manner at all events
- Detail oriented: attention to detail is essential!
- Have a strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
- Flexible availability from May through August (including days, evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Highly energetic, outgoing and eager to interact with listeners and non-listeners to generate excitement at events
- Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and passion to create a positive lasting impression
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision
- Treat equipment with respect and care
- Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions during summer months and able to physically handle gear including heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds
