We are currently looking for an Assistant Director of Programming to join our Maritime team! This position, based in Moncton, NB, reports to the Director of Programming – Maritimes.

As an integral member of our Programming team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of music formats, while taking a leadership role with our Moncton stations (Q103 and New Country 96.9), as well as guiding our teams in various Maritime markets.

Your day-to-day

  • Supervision of programming and on-air talent, including coaching, mentoring and professional development, in various Maritime markets under the direction of Director of Programming (Maritimes)
  • Lead Programming Promotions for the Q Network under the direction of the Director of Programming (Maritimes), including campaign development and on-site execution.
  • Work closely with Promotions Manager and Sales departments with respect to development and execution of on air promotional activity to build revenue and community profile
  • Ensure ongoing audience acquisition, retention, and engagement through research, marketing, and programming initiatives
  • Development and maintenance of station websites and social/digital assets
  • Music scheduling and log exporting and editing
  • Voice tracking and fill-in on-air work as required, as well as commercial voice over as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Programming experience
  • Knowledge of Music Master and Wide Orbit Automation software
  • Multi-tasker with excellent time management skills
  • Great team player – you thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to guide creative talent
