Our Finance team is currently looking for an Accounting Technician!
Your day-to-day
- In charge of bank reconciliations
- In charge of all customers’ payments applications
- Review and monitor customers portal (disputes, refunds, etc)
- Customers collection
- Prepare and maintain the following month-end backups, such as accruals, prepaids, fixed asset and amortization schedules, intangible asset and amortization schedules, etc.
- Prepare Sales Tax declarations
- Assist the Assistant-controller with various month-end reports such as: cost analysis, A/R analysis, reports for management, etc.
- Prepare interim and year-end documents for the external auditors
- Perform ad hoc assignments as required
Your qualifications
- DEC in Accounting
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using an accounting ERP software (Netsuite and/or D365 F&O is an asset)
- Bilingual (Fluent in English is a must)
