Detail-driven and passionate about sound? As a Production Assistant, you’ll play a key role in getting content to air—managing dubs, files, and features with technical precision while supporting production workflow and commercial creation. It’s a fast-paced role that keeps the creative engine running and powers great radio.
Stingray—a leading global music, media, and technology force—has an immediate opening for a full-time Production Assistant. While this position will have a strong Alberta focus, it plays a key role in supporting Stingray’s national creative and production team. The role is based in Edmonton, Alberta (preferred), aligned with Mountain Time Zone hours, but consideration will be given to candidates located anywhere Stingray Radio has an office.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate and process daily commercial dubs
- Load show features and shows
- Record and coach voice talent as needed
- Interact with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines
- Assist with editing and commercial production
- Contribute to voice work when applicable
- Maintain organized file systems and assist with general team support
- Support national creative initiatives and projects across radio and digital platforms
What you bring
- Experience with audio production software (e.g. Adobe Audition)
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Education or training in broadcasting, media production, or related field
- Professionalism, reliability, and a great attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and workflows
