ROSALIE
Hi! My name is Rosalie, and I am going into my second year of university at Hofstra in Business of the Music Industry. I am passionate about music and concerts, and I love teamwork and being creative.
What I expected before my first day:
Before starting this internship, I expected to just do the work I was assigned and not be a part of meetings. From the first day I started my internship at Stingray, I was proven wrong. Everyone welcomed me and made sure my tasks were interesting . I was able to attend multiple meetings that gave me a better understanding of how a business operates.
What surprised me the most when I started my internship:
What surprised me the most was how kind everyone is. The work environment is fantastic, and everyone is incredibly helpful and supportive. It creates a positive atmosphere where collaboration and growth are encouraged, making it a truly enjoyable place to work.
What did I do:
I collaborated on projects for record labels and businesses, curated playlists for music festivals and apps, helped with business reports, created social media posts, and eagerly took on any task where I could learn or lend a hand!
What did I learn:
At Stingray I learned so much! First, I learned how to curate playlists and other projects to target specific audiences, and then I mastered Excel, which I wasn’t familiar with before.
What was the most fun:
In my opinion, working on the marketing aspect of things and creating content for the app and Stingray in general was incredible.
How I would describe the work environment:
The work environment is really great. Everyone is incredibly helpful and kind, which creates a great atmosphere overall.
The Stingray team in 3 words:
Hardworking, supportive, and exceptional
