We are looking for an full time IT Technician to join our Helpdesk team. This position reports to the IT Operations Manager.

Daily

  • Manage and respond to all technical support requests from head office in Montreal and all Stingray satellite offices
  • Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues on different platforms and technologies, including meeting room hardware (video conferencing)
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade workstations, laptops, and phones for current and new employees
  • Create or update technical documentation

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or AEC diploma in computer science (or equivalent work experience) 3+ years of relevant experience in an equivalent position
  • Expert in the installation, configuration and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, IP phones and audio-video equipment in meeting rooms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, MacOS and Office 365 suite operating systems
  • Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell)
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory (GPO, object management)
  • Experience in a helpdesk environment and with a ticket management system
  • Experience with physical, virtual and cloud environment
  • Knowledge of security concepts, networks and troubleshooting tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French (Spanish an asset)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organized, autonomous and motivated
  • Be able to complete projects
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, informal work environment
  • Identify and defuse situations requiring urgent attention
  • 24/7 technical support schedule shared with the entire team in place and occasionally requiring interventions
